What does a white stork's nesting site look like

To build a nest, storks choose any suitable elevation: a pillar, a free-standing tree, the roof of a building, and occasionally they even use haystacks. Birds often make nests on the supports of existing overhead power lines that are very suitable from their point of view. Unfortunately, storks using power lines for nests can be dangerous for both the birds and the electrical grid. This is because the metal structures can conduct electricity, posing a risk of electrocution for the storks. To address this issue, utility companies are now installing special nesting platforms near power lines, encouraging storks to build their homes in safer locations.
